An Islamic seminar on “Defending Sahih Al-Bukhari & Muslim – A Scholarly Defence Against Criticism & Objections” was held today, 26 September 2026, at Masjid Ibrahim Al-Khaleel, Mangalore, under the auspices of the Jamia­te Ahl-e-Hadees, D.K. District Committee, Mangalore. The programme featured scholarly sessions addressing important aspects of Sahih Al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim. Usthad Athab Bin Ahmed spoke on “Imam Bukhari & His Saheeh”, followed by Usthad Ayaz Bin Ismail Nazeeri, who addressed “Imam Muslim & His Saheeh.” The main session was delivered by Shaykh Dr. Ubaid Ur Rahman Madani and Shaikh Abdul Waris athari madani, who spoke in Urdu on “Defending Sahih Al-Bukhari & Muslim.” The seminar brought together attendees for an evening of scholarly discussion concerning the authenticity, significance and defence of the two renowned collections of Hadith.
